SHINee Taemin to Hold Solo Fanmeeting on April 22-23 After Military Discharge

SHINee member Taemin is set to host a solo fanmeeting titled “2023 TAEMIN FANMEETING ‘RE: ACT'” on April 22-23, marking his first face-to-face interaction with fans since his military discharge on April 4, 2023. The fanmeeting will take place at Kyung Hee University Grand Peace Palace (경희대학교 평화의전당) in Seoul, with a total of four sessions held across the two days at 2 PM and 6 PM.
This will be Taemin’s first fanmeeting in approximately three years and four months since his last solo fanmeeting in December 2019. The event is expected to feature various segments showcasing Taemin’s diverse charms, including performances, talk sessions, and games.
Ticket reservations will begin on April 13, 2023 at 8 PM for fan club members, followed by general reservations on April 17, 2023 at 8 PM. Tickets can be purchased through TicketLink. Additionally, the fanmeeting will be simultaneously livestreamed online through the global platform Beyond LIVE. Further details will be announced through SHINee’s official SNS accounts and the Beyond LIVE channel.
Taemin is an all-round artist who has gained global popularity for his exceptional vocals and powerful performances as a member of SHINee. As a solo artist, he has demonstrated his unique style, earning the nickname “Legendary Solo Male Singer” and garnering much love and anticipation for his future endeavors.
After enlisting in the military on May 31, 2021, Taemin completed his social service duties on April 4th. Initially serving as an active-duty soldier in the Army, he was assigned to the Ministry of National Defense Support Group’s military band. However, due to ongoing issues with depression and panic disorder, Taemin was transferred to a supplementary role on January 14, 2023 of last year.
