Stray Kids Mini Album – THIS & THAT was released on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 1 PM KST, featuring the title track “This & That.”

THIS & THAT captures Stray Kids at their most free and self-assured, continuing the group’s habit of challenging familiar musical structures while following their own direction. Built around strong but unrestricted sounds, the album reflects the confidence to choose freely, pursue whatever feels right, and move forward without being confined to a single path or style.

Led once again by the group’s producing team 3RACHA, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN, the eight-track release moves through ambition, love, separation, memories, and personal determination. The title track “This & That” distills that attitude into a relaxed statement of confidence: rather than choosing between one option or another, Stray Kids embrace “this and that” and trust themselves to handle whatever they decide to pursue.

Track Highlights

1. RUN IT

“RUN IT” combines pop and alternative hip-hop on an anthem-sized arrangement built from grand brass, marching drums, and world-beat rhythms. Beginning from the idea of a small starting point expanding from “Seoul to the world,” the song follows Stray Kids as they push beyond obstacles and limitations toward victory. Its driving rhythm reinforces the determination to keep moving and expand what is possible.

2. This & That (Title Track)

“This & That” is a hip-hop-based track that emphasizes Stray Kids’ chill and cool side through a groovy instrumental and a relaxed yet addictive melody. The lyrics move freely between different choices, expressing the confidence to pursue whatever they want without feeling restricted to one option. Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN participated in both the lyrics and composition, helping shape the track around Stray Kids’ easygoing but self-assured attitude.

3. After You

“After You” is a progressive house track portraying the emotional shift that happens after falling in love at first sight. A nostalgic guitar riff develops alongside an increasingly energetic arrangement, eventually opening into a powerful drop. The gradual buildup mirrors how someone’s emotions become completely different after meeting the person who captures their attention.

4. FARMING

“FARMING” is a hip-hop track that turns the gaming concept of farming into a metaphor for continuously working and accumulating achievements. Heavy drums are paired with a playful synth riff, while a shuffle rhythm in the chorus gives the song a distinctive, game-like momentum. The track approaches persistence with humor, presenting hard work as something that can still be enjoyed while moving steadily toward a goal.

5. I Do

“I Do” is a rock track driven by a simple but forceful rhythm and bright, energetic band sound. Its easily recognizable hook is designed to be sung together, turning the song into an expression of solidarity and encouragement. The message centers on finding strength through shared understanding and continuing forward together, with Changbin taking sole lyric-writing credit.

6. Way Out

“Way Out” is an acoustic hip-hop track centered on a retro-inspired guitar riff and the quiet finality of a relationship that can no longer be repaired. Direct and emotionally cold breakup lyrics contrast with the track’s minimal production and lightly flowing melody, capturing the restrained feeling of simply turning away once the relationship has already lost its warmth.

7. 그날 (Back Then)

“그날 (Back Then)” combines a warm band sound with a lyrical melody that recalls memories from the end of summer. Written by HAN, the song looks back on sincere and uncomplicated love, allowing listeners to connect the story with their own personal version of “that day.” Repeated chants reinforce the nostalgic atmosphere, as though briefly returning to a happy memory from the past.

8. This & That (Festival Version)

“This & That (Festival Version)” reshapes the title track by bringing its cool, laid-back groove into a more festive setting. The arrangement heightens the rhythmic energy while preserving the original song’s relaxed confidence, creating a version designed to feel more immediate and communal in a live or festival environment.
