ONF 2nd Album Part.2 – ONF:MY SELF was released on June 17, 2026, at 6 PM KST, featuring the title track “Open The Door.”
ONF:MY SELF continues the story introduced in ONF:MY IDENTITY, but shifts the focus from discovering identity to deciding how to live with it. While the previous album followed travelers pursuing dreams and offering hope to those lost in darkness, this second chapter explores the choices people make after completing that journey. The album reflects on uncertainty, wounds, and moments of hesitation, ultimately presenting the idea that scars and imperfections are not obstacles to overcome but essential parts of who we become. Through this release, ONF conveys that both losing and finding one’s way are experiences that shape the self.
The title track “Open The Door” captures the emotions felt in the brief moment before stepping into an unknown future. Built on powerful rock instrumentation and dramatic vocal performances that span a wide range, the song portrays the mixture of fear, anticipation, and determination that comes with making life-changing choices. Although no one can know what lies beyond the door ahead, the track encourages embracing uncertainty and moving forward with confidence.
The album opens with “Bad Dream,” an Afro-pop inspired track that uses dreamy synths and delicate falsetto vocals to depict the sense of freedom found within a dream world beyond reality. “Escape,” co-created by members Minkyun and Wyatt, takes a different approach with its energetic complextro sound and cyberpunk atmosphere, expressing the process of breaking away from society’s predetermined path in order to discover one’s true self.
“Mirage,” first unveiled during ONF’s concert tour, is an emotional ballad that highlights the group’s matured vocal color through restrained yet gradually intensifying emotions. “Silver Lining” delivers a message of comfort and hope, reminding listeners that even the darkest moments are temporary and that brighter days will eventually return. The collaboration between ONF’s longtime producer Hwang Hyun and Norway’s Dsign Music further enriches the song’s uplifting atmosphere.
Closing the album, “Once In a Red Moon” combines fast-paced rhythms with steadily building energy to capture the excitement of hearts gradually connecting. Its bright and dynamic flow serves as a bridge toward ONF’s next chapter, leaving listeners with a sense of anticipation for what comes next.
Through ONF:MY SELF, ONF presents another powerful statement of self-discovery and growth. By embracing uncertainty, accepting imperfections, and trusting their own choices, the group offers a message that true identity is not found in perfection, but in the journey of becoming oneself.
