MEOVV 1st EP Album MY EYES OPEN VVIDE was released on May 12, 2025, at 6 PM KST with the title tracks “HANDS UP” and “DROP TOP.”

Following the powerful introductions of their debut single “MEOW” and second single “TOXIC,” MEOVV expands its musical world through its first EP album, MY EYES OPEN VVIDE. Rather than functioning as a collection of separate songs, MY EYES OPEN VVIDE unfolds as a connected narrative. Through its diverse tracks, the album explores different aspects of MEOVV’s perspective, emotions, and identity, gradually revealing the unique story and atmosphere that define the group.

The dual title tracks showcase different sides of the group’s artistry. “HANDS UP” combines fast paced Brazilian Funk rhythms with distinctive synth sounds, highlighting MEOVV’s unique identity through energetic performances and powerful confidence. Meanwhile, “DROP TOP” captures the spirit of moving through the world with one’s own perspective, blending a calm opening with bright Pop and Rock elements. Member Gawon also participated in the songwriting, adding a personal touch to the track.

Across the album, MEOVV presents a wide range of musical colors. “MEOW” introduces the group’s multidimensional identity through addictive melodies, striking basslines, and distinctive vocals, while “BODY” delivers bold ambition and dynamic energy through powerful chants, rap, and rhythmic beats. “TOXIC” showcases the members’ unique vocal tones in a Pop R&B sound, expressing the emotional struggle of being unable to escape a dangerous attraction. “LIT RIGHT NOW” closes the album with rhythmic R&B influences and a message about embracing and expressing yourself without being swayed by the expectations or opinions of others.
